Oh Christmas Tree!

A fairly cliched title to this post I know but you're entitled to be cliched at Christmas. It's the best time to be so.

For this post I've used one of our fabulous Christmas stamps that are so reasonably priced. This one is the green Christmas tree. Very modern, don't you think?

The card is simple too as I wanted to keep the lines very clean. So this is what I came up with:

This card is made with nestabilities and doodlebug paper but the star of the show is the tree image in the centre.

Ribbon is 3mm red ribbon with white spots.

Snowman card from our new stamps

We have a set of fantastic new stamps in the online Craft Fairy store and I've made a card from just one of the little snowmen. He is just the perfect size for an A6 card and I'm sure that you'll love him too.

To make this card you will need the snowman stamp which at only £3 is a super bargain.

Some of our dotty red satin ribbon.

I also used Doodlebug paper from my stash and Kuretake pens to colour up the stamp.

Allsorts Challenge 27, 'Children'

The challenge on Allsorts this week is for a card for a child so....this card is for my grand daughter. It's a very special card this year as the one that I made for her last year was lost in the post.

The card uses my favourite colour too so for me it's just perfect.

If you want to re-creat something similar you will need:

Stamps Kids 76 from the Merry Stamper

Pink Dotty Grosgrain Ribbon

A pink bloom

A pink button

Some paper and card

Scissors, 3d foam pads. glue etc.

Have fun.

Ribbon Picture

Just when some of you might have been under the impression that all I could make was cards, here is the latest offering. It is a ribbon canvas that is decorated with paper flowers and a stamped saying from 'I Brake for Stamps'. This canvas is a joint venture with my daughter and you will find her blog, Bargain Queen Uk, here.

Give ma a little time and i'll give you the instructions too.

Beavering away

I've been beavering away today and adding new products to the web site. I can't seem to get them on the 'new products' section though. I really don't understand why. I also can't remove the things that are patently not new either. Computers!!!

Allsorts Challenge 19, 'Stars'

Well I decided that as it's Sepember, and the challenge on Allsorts is for cards with 'Stars' I had better get on with some more Christmas cards and here's the one that I made. The stars are in the night sky.

Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com
I used:
The carol singer stamp from the Variety sheet from I Brake For Stamps
I piece of Night Sky Glitter Card
I base card 10.5 cm x 15cm when folded
1 piece of navy blue saddle stitch ribbon
1 tag
Oval shape
3d foam pads
What I did:
I cut a piece of the night time glitter card to cover the top half of the card while still leaving a small border around the top. Stick to the base card.
Stamp the image onto the oval card and colour with shades of blue, yellow and a little red and brown.
Tie a knot in the ribbon and adhere it over the join between the glitter card and the base card.
Write a nessage on the tag and stick it to the card along with the image.
Now that's a fairly quick card.
