New Stamps from Stampinback

We've just had some new stamps from Stampinback and I had to use them as I think that they are really lovely and the designs are right up to the minute.

I didn't just want to have them as a black silhouettes though and I went for fawn and greens.

The images are 'Fennel Silhouette' from Stampinback.

Tall Flower, silhouette also from Stampinback.

The pens that I used to colour the images are Zig Art and Graphic pens 49, 56, 57.

The ribbon is willow green chiffon in 16mm width.

The sentiment is 'approach dreams'

The flowers are from the romance selection of Eco friendly flowers.

The paper I had in my stash but any soft green should do.

To Make this card:

All you need to do is ink up the stamps with your chosen colours and stamp up the images.

Cover the bottom of the card with some green paper and cover the join with sheer green ribbon.

Ink up the sentiment and stamp out. Mount onto another piece of green paper and stick to the card.

Add a couple of smallish flowers from the pack and you have a card.

Happy crafting.

Ismaki Sketch Challenge

Well, I must say that I am doing my best to get cards made by doing as many challenges as possible. The best thing about challenges is that they make you rethink your ideas and come up with something new and, I hope, exciting.
This card is the one that I've come up with after looking at the one given over on Ismaki.

If you want to make anything like this you will need:

Blooms from our lovely new range.

The Cartes Postal sheet of rubber stamps.

The leaf stamp from out new Florals and Leaves rubber stamp sheet.

Art and graphic pens to colour the stamps. I used 56, 50, 60, 49 and 110

I have a camera

I still haven't found my camera charger, but thank goodness for my daughter who has lent me her old camera. The photos are so much better than scanning.
So to work. Here is my effort for today.

If you want to make this card or something similar you will need:
1 A6 base card in off white
Sentiment stamp ( I used the one above that comes from I Brake for Stamps)
1 piece of pink light weight card
1 sheet of patterned paper
A green flower
3D foam pads
Glue
1 brad
To make this card:
This card is fairly self explanatory. It is simply a matter of layering up and sticking down

Here's the next one

Only two cards as yet. I really do have to speed up. I do have an excuse.....I'm disorganised. I bet that the rest of you that share this excuse are thinking, 'Thank God'.

This card is made with an Inkadinkadoo stamp called English Rose. I coloured it with the Art and Graphic pens from Kuretake which can be seen if you click here.
The ribbon is the spotted pink satin, click here.
A few buttons and a message are all that you need to complete the look.

Cute Cats

I'm quite excited because I'm going to be demonstrating for Kuretake at the Cardiff Hobbycraft. So if you want a sneek preview of what I'm going to be doing then here are the cards.

Tha background is achieved really simply by using a Zig Dottariffic pen in black to dot the card. The more pressure you apply the bigger the dot. I just applied the dots randomly to the top third of the card.

Going Dotty with Dottariffics

I really do love cards with spots. I've made this card with my Dottariffic pens from Kuretake. Dottariffics are being phased and Craft Fairy is one of the few remaining sites that has them in stock so get them quickly or loose out forever. To achieve the effect seen here use pastel colours. If you want to be far bolder than go for the bright pure colours.

If you want to make this card then you can get the sentiment from this sheet of stamps.

Happy crafting.
