I knew that I could do it!

Use another colour other than pink. So here's the evidence to prove it.

This card is made with the new in set of Autumn Shades, £1.50 Prima Style flowers. You get three flowers in the pack and I've layered up the orange and white flower and then snipped the green one to cut out two leaves which unsurprisingly, I've used as leaves. I drew on the stem.

The ribbon is the 9mm caramel grosgrain that you can find by clicking here.

The papers are some that I had in my private stash but I'm sure that you will have plenty of them!!!

Happy crafting,

Yvonne

Daisy Silhouette

I've just had another set of beautiful Silhouette stamps in and I've decided to use them with a twist. Instead of a silhouette, I've used the Art and Graphic pens to colour the stamp and then print it out. So now we have colour rather than just silhouette. A little ribbon and buttons are all that are needed to complete the look.

What you need to use:

Flowers and Leaves stamps sheet from 'I Brake for Stamps'

Yellow gingham ribbon, 9mm wide.

Art and Graphic pens from Zig, Kuretake in colours, dark olive (57), yellow (1), and fawn (49).
Yellow buttons

Green paper

White base card and card to stamp out the image.

What you will need to do:

  1. Stick a piece of green paper to the base card, leaving a small border of white showing.

  2. Tie a knot in the ribbon and stick it to the green paper by tucking it behind the paper and sticking it to the back. Trim the edges.

  3. Colour up the stamp as seen and stamp it onto a piece of white card. Trim and mount with green paper.

  4. Stick to the base card as seen.

  5. Add the buttons and stamp on a sentiment and your card si finished.

Happy crafting.

Oriental Lily all in Pink

Here's a new card from one of my favourite images on the Cartes postal Stamps sheet. It also uses some of the new blooms so it really serves two purposes as it let me be creative on two fronts.

To make this card you will need:
1 pink base card 140mm x 140mm
Some green patterned paper
Length of pink dotty ribbon
Blooms from the Romance Collection
Inspirational Sayings Unmounted rubber stamp
Cartes Postal Unmounted rubber stamp
2 buttons
Tut Art and Graphic pens in colours: 57, 202, 305
Waterbrush
Stazon in Stone Grey
3D foam pads
Glue

What you need to do
Use the Stazon to stamp out the oriental lily image.
Colour up the image with a waterbrush and the Tut Art and Graphic pens in colours: 57, 202, 305
Trim the image
Stick a piece of green paper across the card and then stick the pink spotty ribbon onto the card as shown.
Use the foam pads to attach the image to the card and then use glue and foam pads to layer the flowers of your choice to the card.
Add a button to the centre of the bloom.
Adhere a larger button to the card, as shown, and stamp your message on to the card.
Happy crafting,
Yvonne
